Are Your Pillows Hypoallergenic?

Yes. Our pillows are inherent dust mite resistance comes from our use of hypoallergenic materials, such as our high density foam fill, which has been shown to prevent dust mites from proliferating by scientific literature. For our cover, our viscose of bamboo and polyester combination does not provide a good food source for dust mites like a material such as cotton does, so that means that all materials used in the pillow are inherently dust mite resistant. We also only use CertiPUR-US Certified and Biogreen GreenGuard tested very low V.O.C. foam, further proving our dedication to ensuring we only use the most environmentally friendly and safe materials. Also, allergists recommend putting items that are not washed regularly in the dryer on a high heat setting for 20 minutes to kill any dust mites. We actually recommend you do this every 4 - 6 weeks with our shredded foam pillows, so this is an additional option at your disposal.

Why does a Snuggle-Pedic pillow sleep cooler?

The viscose of bamboo blended material that we use is a little cooler to the touch. However, it is the micro-venting of our Kool-Flow cover which adds more breathability, combined with the breathable nature of our proprietary shredded foam mix that really allows the pillow to sleep cooler overall.

What are the dimensions of the pillow?

For the Snuggle-Pedic toddler Pillow, we cut the Kool-Flow bamboo fabric covering to allow for a 18 inch x 13 inch pillow size, but the whole pillow measurement can be a bit more or less, depending on how spread out the fill is, especially since the fabric has such good stretch to it. The pillow thickness varies the most depending on how spread out the fill is, so you can control this to some degree by gathering or spreading the proprietary shredded type fill we use. Also, the end thickness will vary based on the surface of the user’s body dimensions and weight, but that is why our testing showed that the pillow was able to fit such a wide variety of users. This sizing allows for both a kids pillow or it can also be used as a camping or travel type pillow for adults.

How is your pillow different from your competitors’ pillows?

Our proprietary Kool-Flow Bamboo cover is heavier weight, thicker and more luxurious feeling, as well as being made in the USA, whereas the covers on pillows from most other companies are usually imported (likely from China). Our micro-vented stitching allows the cover to be extra breathable, despite the extra thickness of the fabric. Our shredded foam mix uses very special hypo-allergenic and extremely low V.O.C. CertiPur-U.S. certified foam. This proprietary mix of foam comes directly from the same foam we use on with our high-end, all USA produced mattresses made right in our Agoura Hills, CA factory. The small pieces are extremely soft and fluffy, and make our pillow lighter and more resilient than the usual shredded memory foam pillows found on the market. Lastly, while the majority of our customers love our product from the get go, we know that there is not one single pillow that can meet every customer’s needs, so we offer our customers completely free customizations. We even pay the shipping cost within the trial period, and can modify your pillow to suit your needs. This includes altering the comfort, support, thickness, and buoyancy/springiness.

Are your products made in The U.S.A. and are any components of your pillows and mattresses imported from China?

It is true that when a company says “Made in the U.S.A.,” unfortunately it does not mean that every component is made in the U.S.A.. In fact, it may mean that only the final assembly is done in the U.S., despite the fact the the FTC has regulations for allowing a company to use the claim “Made in the U.S.A.” However, we are one of the few pillow/mattress companies that has had our entire supply chain audited and certified as all U.S. made. Our pillows are one such example, as all the material is made in the U.S. and assembled in California. Using only use high-end, made in the U.S.A. components in our products is what makes them so durable and allows us to offer long warranties. The foam itself originally came from the excess material found in our high-end mattresses that had been made into smaller pieces from our ventilator and shredding machine. Lastly, we support local jobs by hiring 100% of our staff right here in Southern California.
