Why is my nose stuffy in the morning?

It’s simple, your bedding is destroying your peaceful mornings! There are little critters called dust mites that like to set up shop in your room, pay no rent, and cause your allergies to flare up. What’s even worse is that it’s not their actual presence that causes you to have an allergic reaction, it’s their feces. Dust mites eat dead skin cells and cotton fibers which they then digest and deposit all over your beloved pillows and mattresses. 

This is what is living in your bedding. Disgusting right? It's estimated that the average used mattress can have up to 1 million dust mites in it! Your pillow is a culprit too, 10% of the weight of a two year old pillow can be comprised of dead dust mites and their droppings.

There are ways of cleaning your pillows with high heat to kill these bugs but I've always preferred more of a proactive approach to things. Which is exactly why having hypoallergenic bedding was my first choice and has paid out dividends every morning I wake up feeling fresh!
