Snuggle-Pedic Mattress Warranty Information

Congratulations on the purchase of your Snuggle-Pedic® Flex Support™ Mattress that Breathes®! With proper care, your Snuggle-Pedic® can give you and your family 20-years of comfort and snuggly support. The patented AirFlow Transfer System®* works by creating 100 times the breathability of other memory foam mattresses that only use ventilation holes or channels, only the Snuggle-Pedic® combines the two for a truly unique solution! As one of the few audited Made In The U.S.A. Certified® manufacturers, you will be happy to know that every Snuggle-Pedic® is hand made with pride by U.S. workers right in our Southern California facility. Each mattress uses only CertiPur-U.S.® Certified foam.

The Snuggle-Pedic® is sent in a vacuum sealed compressed state for ease of shipping, however, you simply have to unroll the mattress and cut the inner plastic open at one end and watch as the air enters back into the billions of foam cells. The mattress will return to its original state within a short time, depending on the temperature of your living environment (extremely cold conditions can actually freeze the foam in that compressed state until it thaws out). Any wrinkles in the fabric will dissipate over time. Since the mattress was sealed in this state, even though it uses CertiPur-U.S.® Certified very low V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) foam, it may have a mild, non-toxic odor when you first open it up. While that odor will dissipate over a short period of time and is not harmful, please feel free to air it out ahead of time if you are sensitive to new smells. If you have any issues whatsoever with the smell, be sure to call or email us and we will send you out a special odor absorbing sponge at no charge to help eliminate any smell much more rapidly. We have extensively tested this mattress and while it has been shown to have proper orthopedic support for your spine, we realize that even with our special Flex-Support technology, no one mattress can’t fit every individual’s needs. So, we want you to feel free to take advantage of our 120-night sleep trial that will allow you to return it to Amazon or give us a call and thanks to our specially designed zipper removable modular cover, we can even alter the mattress to perfectly suit your needs at no cost whatsoever (we even pay all shipping expenses)!

How does the 20-Year Limited Warranty work?

During the first 10 years any repair on any defective parts is on us, including shipping for the first 120 days. This includes defects that were there when you first recieved your new bed. We also cover all shipping costs to get the mattress back to you for the life of the 20-year limited warranty.

What happens after the first 10 years?

After you have had your bed for 10 comfy years there is a slight cost for warranty repairs, 5% of the cost of the mattress for each year starting the 11th year. Below is a useful chart that will help explain this, which hopefully you will never need to refer too.

Years 1 - 10 0% $600 Mattress $0
Year 11 5% $30
Year 12 10% $60
Year 15 25% $150
Year 20 50% $300

What is covered by the warranty?

We cover any defects that occured during manufacturing that slipped passed us, as well as the foam in the mattress breaking down during the life of the mattress. If your bed should start to sag by more than 3/4 of an inch, give us a call and we will help repair or replace your mattress.

What is not covered by the warranty?

While we are more than confident that your bed will stand the tests of time, we cannot cover any damage done to the mattress after it has been recieved.

These types of damage are not covered:

Over time some normal cosmetic change will happen to the foam. Do not worry as it does not effect the performance of the mattress at all.

What can I do to help protect and care for my mattress?

We highly recommend using a mattress protector, though since most available on the market use non breathable materials to make them water proof we developed our specially designed Kool-Flow® Memory Foam Mattress Protector with Greenshield® Technology. This mattress protector does not use a membrane like most others, but still offers excellent water and stain resistance while still allowing you to benefit from the full effects of the Airflow Transfer System®.

The foam does have a break in period so we do recommend rotating your mattress, much like you would rotate the tires on you car, to help the foam break in evenly. We suggest doing this every 6 months, rotating the mattress clockwise or counter-clockwise. Do not flip the mattress over, the underside is not nearly as comfortable as the top.
